Fire safety depends on objective assessment of the conditions at the enterprise, including analysis of the fire risk and the ability of the system in place to slow fire development and minimize the material damage. In the event of a fire, there is a real risk of injury or loss of life. Fire hazards are associated with the large quantities of flammable materials, equipment, and products at manufacturing plants. Fire safety at medium-size machine-building facilities is considered.
